Bicycle fitting services at Revolutions Cycling Center are performed by Mike Beretta, PT, ATC. Finding the "balance" between the "art and science" of bike fitting, he blends over 15 years of experience developing biomechanically based evaluation and treatment skills as a physical therapist and athletic trainer, studying functional anatomy, and taking several bicycle fitting courses. He constantly reviews the latest research to help riders find the most comfortable and efficient position on their bicycle. "We know what the most efficient position on a Road, Tri, or TT bike should be, but often and athlete's body won't go there due to flexibility, strength, or other biomechanical issues. It's our job to put a plan in place to allow movement toward the more efficient, powerful position in the near future."

What's wrong with this bike fit?

*Hint: 3 issues with the bike, 3 technique, 2 with the client's body/strength/flexibility

Why have your bike fitted?
Saddle numbness/pain, neck, hand, foot pain or numbness are NOT normal. "Fit your bike to your body. Our goal is for you to be as comfortable and efficient as possible." Research has shown us the most efficient position for a cyclist, but tightness, weakness, technique, injuries often prevent riders from achieving this position. The key is to adjust the bicycle to the most efficient position a rider's body will allow comfortably, and then educate the rider in the correct stretching, strengthening, and techniques allowing a more efficient position in the near future. Perfect for the beginner cyclist to the most seasoned racer! **Road Bikes**MTB**Cyclocross**Triathlon**TT***Hybrid**

The Computainer-Based Bike Fit
We use a Computrainer stationary trainer and a Salsa Size-O-Matic Adjustable stem to find the most efficient and comfortable position for a rider. There is no guessing! The Computrainer provides us with a immediate feedback for left right pedal balance, power output, cadance, speed, and most importantly pealing efficiency. The computrainer actually provides a number describing pedaling efficiency and we can see the immediate effects of changing the positions of the saddle, bar, cleat, techniques, etc.
